I run data functions in real-money businesses, where every figure reconciles and every decision leaves an audit trail.

Now

Head of Data at Block Labs, a multi-brand, crypto-first iGaming group. My mandate is the data platform behind the group’s AI-assisted operations: streaming change-data-capture from every product database into one governed warehouse, data contracts enforced in CI across brands, and the player, wallet and game models that finance, VIP and risk teams will run on. It is multi-tenant by design and built with the group’s infrastructure and product engineers, so a new brand onboards through configuration rather than a new pipeline.

Before

Seven years at Gaming Innovation Group, the last three and a half as Head of Data Science and Analytics. I built the real-time data science platform from nothing, then ran the AI-adoption programme for a 200-engineer organisation and designed the group’s proprietary AI ecosystem. The commercial record: 54% ARPU uplift across AB-tested campaigns, 13% more turnover per user from recommendation and segmentation models, and safer-gambling tooling shortlisted at the EGR and Global Regulatory Awards.

Earlier, at Atlas Insurance, I took a claims-recovery model to the board, won approval, and recovered about €1M.

How I work

  • A platform decision gets a cost line and a revenue or risk line before it gets an architecture diagram.
  • Decisions are written down and reviewed.
  • Small teams on AI-assisted engineering, with CI gates and written runbooks, so the platform does not depend on any one person.
